I’m going to attempt the Holidailies again this year.
Today… Joseph had his first school play. He decided he didn’t want to be in it, so he was the “backstage manager.” And he wanted me THERE. Very adamant about that fact. And so I was. I was very proud of him. He’s 6, and he did the curtains and helped set the scenes in between.
No meltdowns. Just behaved, listened to directions, and performed his stuff.
We won’t mention an hour of sitting through 1st graders with their own take on Jack and the Beanstalk. Oy.
First of all I would like to say great blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your head before writing. I have had a tough time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out. I truly do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be lost simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or hints? Kudos!
