Can someone tell me why I should switch to Gmail? I have email. But somehow I feel like I’m missing out on something by not having it.

My main reason I like my Gmail account is that it is much quicker than my yahoo and hotmail accounts. Much much quicker to navigate from Inbox to an Email to your ‘labels’. The search function within Gmail is fantastic.
Reason 2 is that the ads are all text adds. There aren’t any big annoying banners in the background. I can calmly read personal emails at work without being a heat bag.
When you get a Gmail account you get extras. The google Personalized Home Page is awesome. I like what they have done there. Again, no big banners. So customizable.
I really like being able to use Google Reader (labs) which I get my feeds right to my Google Personalized Home Page.
Finally, with a Gmail account you get to use Google calendar.
I guess what I’m saying is that Gmail is good but all the other Google stuff makes it better.

so true.. it is quicker, i think. also, if you get lots of emails from the same person in a day, and you’re responding to them in the same day, it lists them all as one long conversation instead of seperate emails.. to cut back on space. i love that feature.
