Sparks and Butterflies...

I live in a small suburb – La Canada, CA. I guess it’s not THAT small anymore.

I do like it here. I grew up in the house next door – my parents’ home. I went to Joseph’s school (if that’s not surreal I don’t know what is). I keep running across the parents of people I went to school with. It’s a pretty place. People with lots of money live here, so it’s kept up rather nicely (not us – but my parents bought here about 50 years ago). A GREAT school district and schools, which is great with Joseph’s problems. Foothills and trees this close to L.A. is nice.

It does have its pitfalls though. There is a level of snobbishness here you don’t find other places. And since I’m a bit on the “different” side (ie tattoos & piercings I’m not ashamed to show) I get all kinds of looks. Those looks are straight down some highbrow noses. But that’s okay. I’m not here to be friends with them.

So, I’m in the process of ordering my groceries, paying bills, etc. I hate money. I’m going to start reading magazines now in order to come up with things to write about. I’m having trouble with writing!!! I need topics!! So we’re moving on to magazines in the hope that something will inspire! I promise. It will get better.

Jay went to the store and got me some REAL red vines… none of this twizler crap. I’m not smoking I want the REAL THING!

A Question! Anyone out there listen to Blog Explosion radio??? I was listening and mystery credits were given away. I got the number for claiming it, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to claim it! Anyone know?

Have I hit a hump? For the moment I can’t think of a thing to say!! I mean I’m dry. Okay, hopefully I’ll think or see or hear something in the next half hour that will be just riveting.
