Tell it to me Tuesday

Are you a Mac lover or a PC person? Are Mac’s the “apple of your eye” or are PC’s your piece of the pie and of course…WHY?

PC – all the way. I haven’t had a lot of experience with mac. But, the small experiences I’ve had were that someone always needed to help with problems. In other words, on a PC, I feel that while not as user friendly, when you have issues, you might be able to fix them yourself. However, with a mac, the workings seem to be so hidden (so as to help with user friendliness) that you need to hire someone to help with problems. I like being able to fix my own stuff.

I’m sure that a goodly portion of the reasons behind my answer is strictly the “known vs unknown” factor.

I’m sorry, but comments are now disabled. I tried to make it so authentication was needed, but that’s not working. I apologize, but the over 100 comment/trackback spam emails a day are just too much for me to handle. As soon as I figure out the problem, I’ll let you know. For now, though, you can comment directly to me at sparksfley at gmail dot com.

What in the ever loving world is the problem with aiming your freakin’ wanker into the toilet, so that you don’t hear your mother (that would be me) screaming about men and ewww and gross and “How would you like MY pee on YOUR butt??”

To be fair, it’s the shorter of the gender in my house I’m referring to. Not Poe.

But for Cripes sake stop daydreaming when there’s fluid involved.

Gross. Just gross.

timing…

I was going to write a long entry about how I hate myself right now. All about the self talk and the inertia it brings me (along with things like weight gain and depression). Then I saw this quote. And well – I think I’m going to try and let it sink in a little.

We have to learn to be our own best friends because we fall too easily into the trap of being our own worst enemies.

changing up – need your opinion

January 18, 2007 By Michele Leave a Comment

Hey guys… Need your opinion about a few things… I know asked some of these questions before, but that was before work, holidays, depression, and inlaws got in the way of any and all creative juices. I’m coming back out of the protective turtles shell, so I’m asking, once again for your input.

1. Design. I love this design and that’s not going away – except to add holiday bits & freshening up. But – I’m going to be going through and updating links, and making sure I want to a part of some of the things I link to. But my question to YOU is, 2 or 3 columns? My concern is that while 2 columns is neater and not as hectic to the eye – the side bar would be terribly terribly long. I don’t know, what do you think?

2. Biography page. I want to redo it. I’m terrible about writing it, though. I want it short/sweet/true to me – but I’ve lived a slightly eclectic life that’s been very odd. So – what should I put? I need to pare down. So when you read someone’s bio page, what are you looking to find?

3. Regular feature. yes, again. hush you in the corner. What would you like to see? What would you read? What would you participate in?

Help me out a little here, mmmkay? I’m trying to do something creative for myself, and I’ve got a little momentum, so I don’t want it to hit a brick wall.
