Horrible. Just horrible.
So far, as of this posting, 3 are confirmed dead. 50-100 cars in the river. School bus, fires, there’s even a freight train involved.
Pray. The sun is going down.

But aside from that, she's still completely normal

I personally would have laid hands on the woman. But, being the better woman than I, here’s Faith Hill’s response on camera to the woman who grabbed for her husband, Tim McGraw’s privates.
I normally don’t ask for parenting help… We’ve struggled on our own for a lot of reasons, not the least of which is the fact that our kids don’t fit the “norm,” and many normal things didn’t work.
I now have a puzzle. Logan has been getting up in the night. He’s straight up sleepwalking – because he needs to pee. Last night, Poe caught him peeing in the hallway outside his room. He does not know what he’s doing, and he’ll let us lead him to the bathroom if we see him up – but I’m afraid of where he might be going if this happens when Poe and I are already in bed. He has no other potty problems to speak of.
I was thinking of maybe getting him out of bed, and walking him to the bathroom before we go to sleep at night.
What do you think? Any other suggestions?
So we’re slowly but surely unpacking before the renovating begins. Not very newsworthy.
Poe’s brother, M, was in an accident. It was serious – a gasoline accident that gave him 3rd degree burns on his hand, and then 2nd up to his elbow, and caught his face a little. He seems to be healing nicely. Whether he’ll ever work again is the question. It was bad enough that the question came up of amputation. So far so good, but this means physical therapy, possible grafts, etc. He works in manual labor. He has to have his hands. The future’s in God’s hands, but I’m very curious as to how this whole thing is going to turn out.
And there’s been other drama in our lives as well… My game guild had a bit of a split. A bunch of high levels left. There was definitely some duplicity going on. I know that Poe and I were specifically lied to. So those people went off and created their own guild – and good riddance. But that means we basically have to start ours from scratch again. There’s certainly a lot more to it than this, but this isn’t a gaming blog, and I don’t feel like explaining the intricacies. But the bottom line is, this is Poe and I’s main hobby so that’s been taking some time to rectify. It may be a game, true, but these are still real people we’re dealing with.
Things are slowly getting back to normal. Although it’ll all go to hell in a handbasket once school starts, and we’ll start all over creating new routines and such. Hopefully, I’m back to stay, and I’m happy to report that I found the nail clippers, and I again have more than one pair of shoes.
I’m sad I can’t go to BlogHer.
REALLY sad.
I mean – I tried. I had the money – and then Poe either had tooth issues or we had car issues, I can’t remember which. And there went the money. Then, I thought I could still go, and he quit his job. Then I thought I could still go? And then we moved.
So I’m not going. I was going to do Blogathon instead, since it was the same weekend, and then I could still do SOMETHING, but then we moved last week. Which left me totally and completely exhausted, that the thought of staying up all night, even for charity, made me faintly nauseous.
Not such a sprightly sparks anymore people.
The topper came when we had sort of a coup d’état in my guild on WoW. Which means that I was left without most of the sponsors I would have had (and was planning to have.)
Sigh.
So… This weekend will be spent unpacking. I’m nothing if not boring.
