New Renter…

The renter for the week is I Am Jack’s Raging Mommy, written by – well – Jack’s raging mommy.

When I first saw the site with the rest of the bids I immediately took her bid. I had to. Fight Club is one of Poe’s favorite movies, and I got the reference as soon as I saw her title. And second, I could see in her thumbnail that I loved the colors of her design, which would make it easy for me to physically read. I actually rented to her before I read her content.

But then I did. Read her content, that is. Turns out I like both the way she writes and what she writes about. So? Not only is she a renter, but has made it onto my blogroll as well. Go see her! You’ll be glad you did.

My renter this week is Long, Slow, Beautiful Dance. So this is a plug to let you know you ought to go visit her.

I usually don’t like designs that are so bright, but it really works here. She was a blogathoner, so she gets props from me for that. From my bouncing around, she seems like a light fun read – and that she’s probably not going to go off on a rant that leaves YOU heated and exhausted – this is a good thing. She gets what she needs said without jumping down your throat, and venting to relieve her steam, and everyone’s happy.

This is exactly the program to have if your husband… Oh, hypothetically, of course… puts a rental under the car seat to keep it out of the sun during work, so he can return it later. And 3 months later finds it when cleaning out the car, and you have a $100 late fee.

I’m just saying, it’s nice to not have late fees. And a great selection.

Blingo

Blingo is a search site with a twist. People who use Blingo for their searching needs have the chance to win randomly issued prizes (and so does the person who registered you). In addition, they are powered by Google, so you may as well use Blingo instead, where you may win something! Plus unlike some search sites I’ve used in the past, when you use them, you’re not inundated with ads, popups, and blinkie things, which in my opinion, always makes it more difficult to find what you’re looking for – the information you were trying to find in the first place.

Go! Use them! And win stuff! We like stuff…
