Stressed spelled backwards is desserts. Coincidence? I think not!

Not much around here to see.

November 22, 2006 By Michele 2 Comments

Hmmmm… I want to write. But there’s not much going on.

Go see this film. Seriously. I helped make it. It’s wonderful. It IS PG so you may want to think twice about little kids, say under 6, ’cause there are some scary parts, but my 4 year old enjoyed it.

Did I mention I worked on it? I work in music – and let me tell you, 70 songs in one film, plus score, is a huge undertaking. We did good.

What else?

I went Pro on ChaCha! Give it a whirl.

What else?

Oh. We’re not doing turkey this year. My mother dislikes my cooking. But she’s unwilling (and quite frankly too unwell) to cook herself. So this is the second year in a row we’ll go to a mexican restaurant – guess that means it’s tradition now, right?

Right?

I shudder at my kids therapy bills in the future.

VACATION!!

November 21, 2006 By Michele 1 Comment

My boss forced a vacation on me after the PFH (project from hell). I am coming at you now from home – IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MORNING!!

I may play some WoW. Or not. Blog. Or not. DVD’s. Or not. Or sleep. Or not.

And my house is clean. and silent. Bliss.

Everyone converges Thursday, but for now, I’m alone. I need this.

Breathe

November 13, 2006 By Michele 1 Comment

I finally feel like I can breathe. My project (or my portion anyway) is done. Which means I can get to the stack on my desk that’s about 3 feet tall. But that’s okay, because I can actually do it now. Here’s hoping for more content on my blog, now that I finally have the breathing room to do it.

This week’s gonna be tough.

I’m going to try and come back to you this week. But that was before I opened my work email. I think after this week all will calm down. But dude, this is all just so wrong. For now, I’ll leave you with a quote I found.

The Beautiful is everywhere; perhaps more in the arrangement of your saucepans on the white walls of your kitchen than in your eighteenth-century living room or in the official museums.
Fernand Leger, painter
